<p data-start="78" data-end="273">Malin Verheij’s EP <em data-start="97" data-end="130">To cry for, to lean on, to love</em> arrives on April 4. Bare and intense, the songs drift through feelings of doubt, heartbreak, freedom, self-trust, and the spark of new love.</p>
<p data-start="275" data-end="406">The lead track, <em data-start="291" data-end="306">Hold On To Me</em>, is about love without limits—a quiet, atmospheric world where the soul is wide open. Malin says:</p>

<p data-start="524" data-end="874">She had walked away from music. Then, in a red cottage outside Jokkmokk, it called her back. She bought a piano. Wrote songs that wouldn’t stay silent. <em data-start="676" data-end="709">To cry for, to lean on, to love</em> was recorded live at Bagarstudion outside Luleå, produced by Frithiof Stenvall. Stripped-down, intimate. Strings by Michelle Packman (Miley Cyrus, Chappell Roan).</p>
